- Avoid smoking
- Avoid alcohol consumption
- Reduce your tea, coffee or caffeine intake to about 2-3 cups a day or less
- Stay away from any type of radiation and heat
- Avoid sitting on the floor, suddenly leaning forward or backward, or doing anything that puts pressure on your lower abdomen, especially after IVF.

- Get enough sleep – it takes at least 8 hours of sleep.
